public class Degree
extends javax.swing.JFrame

The Degree is the master class of the Academic Advisor's Apprentice. One Degree is created on runtime - it instantiates NUM_SEMS semesters, then reads the input file and creates all instances of Course necessary. Also creates the relevant links between the Courses (again based on the input file's data).

Parameters:: startSem - true if Degree is to start in the Mar/Jun semester, false if starting in Aug/Nov.

addCourses

                throws java.io.IOException

Reads the source data file, and creates the Courses. Then rereads the file and creates the links between those Courses.

Parameters:: c - Graphics Container object for the new Courses.
Throws:: java.io.IOException

getSemCourse

public Course getSemCourse(java.lang.String courseName,
                           int semNum)

Gets the instance of a Course from a given Semester.

Parameters:: courseName - Course code of the objective course.; semNum - number of the objective Semester.
Returns:: instance of that Course from the given Semester.
