Nexar 2004/NanoBoard presentation
Speaker: Steve Passmore, Altium Ltd
When: 2004-12-09 14:00:00
Venue: 78-420
Host: Mark Schulz
Abstract:This presentation will demonstrate how Nexar 2004 and NanoBoard can
be used to great affect in an educational environment to teach
digital systems design on an FPGA platform. Nexar 2004 allows the
user to design a digital system, complete with microprocessor(s)
incorporating embedded software and then test and debug the design
while it is actually running on the NanoBoard. The NanoBoard offers
a desktop breadboard that supports a "burn and learn" environment -
much more than simulation.
