Abstract:Bill will give a presentation and demonstration of some of Mantara's
recent work for the Telco Sector reflecting on what is required to
market technology into business.
Biography:Bill Segall, Mantara founder and CTO, is responsible for defining
and articulating Mantara's technology strategies. Bill's role
includes mapping customer needs into product plans and leading the
engineering team as well as representing Mantara internationally to
business, governement, and investors. Bill was formerly a Senior
Research Scientist at the Distributed Systems Technology Centre with
a strong Software Engineering background. Some at DSTC will
remember Bill's unusually poro tpying sklils, care with filesystems,
fascination with WilliamLand and baroque sense of humour.
