I was Learning to Fly …

I took flying lessons and passed my General Flying Progress Test (GFPT ), what used to be called a Restricted Private Pilots License in Australia. This allowed me to take passengers and fly around airfield training areas.

The plane did most of my training in is an Australian Built CA-25N Skyfox Gazelle, which is pictured above. To finish my full Private Pilots License I need to do navigation exercises and will probably move up to a Cessna 172 which has a longer range and a faster cruise. Sadly it is quite a bit more expensive per hour at A$170.00 Dual and $A120.00 Solo, wet. Here are a couple of photo's of me and Sam flying over Bribie Island.
