IEEE Student Membership Offer - 2007

The IEEE Queensland Section is happy to announce subsidized IEEE student memberships for UQ students.  This offer is valid for 2007 and covers 50% of the basic membership fee incurred by new membership applicants. Joining now will give you membership until the end of 2007.

If you join in 2007, you will also receive a free IEEE T-shirt (sizes subject to availability).

 

To take up this offer, you should:

·        Be a UQ student (undergraduate or postgraduate)

·        Email the UQ IEEE Student Branch Counselor, udantha@itee.uq.edu.au, to confirm that this offer is still available.

·        Visit the IEEE website and apply for student membership.

·        For payment, you should select the "Print and Mail with Payment" option on the Checkout page of the application form.

 

·          Present your printed application form to Peter Sutton (room 605, GP-South Building), along with payments. Payment can be in the form of Cash, Cheque made out to "IEEE Queensland Section", or Electronic transfer to IEEE Queensland Section (BSB 804-083, Account Number 305832) - use your 8 digit IEEE member number (which will be on your printed application form) along with your family (last) name as the reference ID for the payment.

 

     NOTE: this offer covers only the IEEE student membership fee; society memberships are not included.
