Alice's Tea Party - Development


Alice's Tea Party Set-up

TV - A TV was used instead of a computer screen to give a more homey and kitchen-like surrounding.

Sensor Pads - 4 sensor pads are placed on the table, one for each item of a tea set, which consists of a tea cup, a teapot, a sugar bowl and a milk jar. There is also a pad on the chair for the participants.

EZIO - EZIO board connects the pads to the computers. Director software receives input from the pads through the EZIO board.

Video Camera - Video camera was used to stream video image on the TV. The participants can see their own image interacting with the TV. The video image includes the empty chair on the other side of the table. The software to stream video was VLC.

Macromedia Director - Text and and images was projected on the TV by using Macromedia MX 2004 projector movie made with Macromedia Director
