Research themes

This research area includes medical imaging with MRI or microwaves; image analysis and reconstruction using artificial intelligence for fast and accurate diagnosis in neurological and musculoskeletal diseases.
Time reversed laser pulses and laser sensors; microwave devices and techniques; and sensors/wearables to monitor respiration, sleep, neuromuscular activity, or movement are some of our key areas of research.
Biomedical engineering
We explore rehabilitation and assistive technologies, neuroprosthetics, transdisciplinary research in engineering, neuroscience, (bio)medical and rehabilitation sciences.
