We are a team of UQ, Griffith Uni, and affiliated researchers who are looking for paramedicine students to participate in a simulation study at The University of Queensland’s Usability Laboratory (St Lucia campus). We are exploring how head-worn displays and tablet computers might support the work of paramedic teams.

You will work with a fellow student as a paramedic team to treat and manage simulated patients via computers, while also using a head-worn display or a tablet computer.

To participate you must be:

  • Proficient in English
  • Have normal or corrected to normal vision without glasses
  • Be in the 2nd or 3rd year of your paramedicine course

More information

The experiment lasts approximately 2 hours. Training for how to engage in the tasks is given prior to the study. COVID-19 measures are in place. Receive $50 in cash for participating.
