Need help planning your program (degree) and selecting your courses?

On this page you'll find a selection of academic advice resources for students enrolled in programs managed by the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ITEE).

In the first instance, we recommend students take the following steps:

1. Select your program from the Undergraduate or Postgraduate list below and familiarise yourself with the study plans and resources provided

2. Use Program Planner to plan courses for your program and to ensure your plan meets the completion rules and chosen structure (majors, minors, etc). *For students who commenced pre-2021, please see 'How to check your progression' below to help plan your courses.

Once you have reviewed these resources and if you cannot find the answer to your question, you may need to make an appointment to see a school Academic Advisor to help choose your courses and plan the enrolment for your program.

Program structure changes in 2021

ITEE undergraduate programs changed from Semester 1, 2021. The structure of the programs, and the courses available to study, have been updated.

Students studying these programs can complete their program in the existing structure (pre-2021), or they may be able to choose to transition to the new structure.

More information can be found on the EAIT Program Structure Changes in 2021 page
