Researcher biography

Feifei Bai, PhD, IEEE Senior member, received her Bachelor degree and Ph.D. Degree from Southwest Jiaotong University. She is also the representative of Women in Power (WiP) for IEEE PES Queensland Section. She did the research at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (UTK), USA from 2012 to 2014. Currently, she is an Advance Queensland Fellow with the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the University of Queensland, Australia. Her research contributions can be recognised by a strong publication record and research outcome implementation by the industry. She has commercialized one US patent and published over 33 peer-reviewed papers that have been cited by authors in 43 countries. She serves as a guest associate editor for the special issue "Flexible and Resilient Urban Energy Systems" of the International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems in 2021. She also actively collaborates with Australian industries including Energy Queensland, NOJA Power, Powerlink, AEMO, and EPEC Group. One ARENA project in which she was a key researcher received an Australian Engineering Excellence Award in 2020.
